Quick answers
- Where do I find the grown up settings? Tap the gear button, then press and hold "Grown ups" for 3 seconds. You can rename the pet, pick a new pet, turn sounds on or off, clear photos or start over.
- No sound? Check the speaker button in the top corner and the Sounds and Music switches in the menu. On iPhone and iPad, also check that the ring or silent switch is not on silent.
- How do we earn stars? By taking care of your pet: feeding, bathing, cuddling, playing and the mini games. Doing the same thing over and over pays stars less often, so kids are encouraged to care for every need.
- Can the pet get sick or sad? Never. Care meters drain slowly, stop at a gentle minimum, and nobody ever loses a game.
- Is there anything to buy inside the app? There are no ads. Optional extras (special pets, outfit packs and bags of stars) are in the Family Shop, which only opens after a grown up answers a times table question. All payments go through your Apple Account, and you can turn purchases off in Screen Time.
- I bought something. Where is it? Outfits show up in the Closet, decorations and walls in the Shop, toys in the Play room, and special pets on the pick a pet screen (Grown ups corner, Pick a new pet). On a new device, open the Family Shop and tap Restore purchases.
- What are wishes, the calendar and trophies? Your pet makes three small wishes every day, each visit day adds a stamp to the calendar, and trophies are big goals. They all give stars and special prizes you can only win, never buy.
